Teaching degree students´ experience of teaching practice

Abstract The study is focussed on perception of teaching practices by pre-service teachers in preschool and primary education university programmes. Further, the analysed reality shock that occurred these students during practice. sample consisted 41 programmes, while 54 followed primary-level programme. data collection methods were student portfolios diaries from In it was possible to analyse activities, opinions, attitudes products Diaries reported students’ feelings everyday experience schools. Qualitative content analysis used data. Two significant findings obtained, i.e., supervising teachers’ frequent unprofessional behaviour towards teachers, somatic emotional exhaustion students.
